OUTCOMES OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON
ENGINEERING & ENVIRONMENT ON 17 OCTOBER 2006 AT CHICAGO
-
The committee
reviewed its activities since it met in Puerto Rico in October 2005.
-
The committee
ratified induction of new members from Ghana, Australia, U.K. and
Pakistan.
-
Two new members
from Canada & Ghana were taken to the Committee.
-
A Task Force
consisting members from China, Japan, U.K., Pakistan, USA & India with
Mr. B J Vasoya, Chairman, CEE as its Convenor was set up to make
in-depth study regarding various sources of power like solar, the
surface and sub-surface, wind power, tidal and geo-thermal power and
nuclear power.
